The Windup Girl: Book Review

I can understand why the critics loved this book. However to be it just wasn't that entertaining. I won't give away the plot but just say that the ending was anticlimatic. The setting of the book takes place in the future where the earth has run out of most of its oil. Without energy there is no fun in technology. The characters are interesting, but I really don't care for them that much. I guess its hard for me to relate to the Asian culture that's covered in this book.
